The Hawks are searching for a junior ‘sidekick’ to accompany our match day Master of Ceremonies at Hawthorn’s home games in 2015.
The lucky candidate will find themselves standing in front of packed MCG and Aurora Stadium crowds during the 2015 season, and will be responsible for delivering match day content via the big-screen throughout the course of each match.
Do you have what it takes to be Hawthorn’s Junior Sidekick? Here’s how to apply:
- Take a short video of yourself (no longer than 2 minutes) showcasing your skills. Some ideas for video topics include:
- Welcoming the Hawks players onto the ground to run through the banner
- Conducting a half-time review of the match
- Welcoming the crowd to the MCG for Round 1 v Geelong on Easter Monday
- Send your video link to the Club at recruitment@hawthornfc.com.au
- Include your name, address and date of birth, with your parent’s or legal guardian’s name, address, contact number and email address.
- Video submission uploaded to YouTube, Hightail, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
- Or you can post a letter and USB or DVD/CD with the video file to:

You must be aged between 8-13 years old to apply. Applications close 5pm Monday 2 March 2015.
Hawthorn Football Club will review all candidates and select a shortlist who will then be required to participate in an audition at the Ricoh Centre during the week commencing 9 March 2015.
