Hawthorn Coach Alastair Clarkson says he is still searching for the best way to mould the Hawks forward line in 2019.
The Hawks are averaging 84 points per game so far this season, good for ninth in the league but an area that Clarkson is seeking further improvement with.
"We're searching for what our forward mix should look like," the four-time premiership coach said.
"Some of that has to do with the forwards themselves, some of that has to do with the way we're moving the footy.
Clarkson blooded young key forward Mitch Lewis for the first time in 2019 against the Cats and the 20-year-old showed some strong signs in his third career game.
"We're pleased with Mitch Lewis' progress.
"Hopefully he can step up to senior level because he has certainly been able to perform at a consistent level at VFL level."
Two-time All Australian Luke Breust leads the way in front of goal for the Hawks in 2019 with eight goals, while Jarryd Roughead, Ricky Henderson and Ben McEvoy (six goals each) have also been potent.
