Hawthorn defender Tim Mohr will miss the remainder of the 2019 season after injuring his knee in a practice match for Box Hill on Sunday.
Mohr injured his knee in the opening minutes of the match against Casey Demons and was taken to hospital where he stayed overnight.
GM – Football Graham Wright confirmed the former Giant would not be returning this year.
“After suffering a dislocated knee during a practice match on Sunday, we can confirm that Tim Mohr had surgery on his ACL and PCL ligaments on Wednesday,” Wright said.
“Tim will be in hospital for the next couple of days and unfortunately as a result, Tim will miss the 2019 season while he recovers.
“The injury is disappointing for Tim, and the club, but he has access to some of the best medical professionals and the support of the club as he recovers.”
