Coming up against a strong Brisbane midfield on Saturday night, Hawks on-baller James Worpel continued to stand tall for his side.
Worpel collected 25 disposals against the Lions as well as five tackles and seven inside 50s to earn the Round 11 MVP award.
In just his second season, the 20-year-old is enjoying a stand-out campaign which has seen him play in every game.
Averaging just shy of 25 disposals on the year, he has not yet fallen below 20 possessions in any of these games, a mark of his consistent output so far in 2019.
Only fellow midfielder Ricky Henderson has recorded more disposals for the Hawks this year, while his 121 contested possessions is more than any of his teammates.
