Hawthorn Captain Ben Stratton appears almost certain to return to the Hawks line-up when the side takes on Carlton on Sunday.
Stratton was a late withdrawal from the Hawks game against Geelong on Monday, with the medical staff choosing to take a cautious approach as the 30-year-old dealt with concussion from the previous week.
Fellow leader Liam Shiels will also be looking to prove his fitness ahead of the club’s first game in Tasmania for the season.
Shiels injured his hamstring in the Round 2 loss to the Western Bulldogs but is now nearing full fitness as he seeks a return to the field.

Meanwhile at Box Hill, Dylan Moore has continued his run of strong form since his first taste of senior action in Round 3.
Moore was held out of the second half of Box Hill’s loss to Port Melbourne on Saturday as a carry-over emergency for the AFL side, but was nevertheless productive in limited minutes.
First-year Hawk Damon Greaves was also commended for playing his best game in the brown and gold to date, with Coach Max Bailey praising the West Australian’s work ethic.
Jonathon Ceglar is also a chance to get recalled to the senior side, should the Hawks opt for a two-pronged ruck attack.
