Hawthorn has made two changes ahead of its trip north to take on Brisbane on Saturday night.

Wingman Isaac Smith will return to the team after three weeks on the sidelines with a foot injury, while Mitch Lewis has also been included after missing the Hawks’ last game.

A member of the leadership group, Smith will provide some direction for the Hawks as they look to overcome the Lions at the Gabba for the first time since 2016.

GM – Football Graham Wright said the pair are valuable inclusions to the Hawks 22.

“Obviously it’s exciting to regain Isaac into our line-up, he has worked hard to get back out there after a few weeks off,” Wright said.

“Mitch will also return to the side and help us with another target inside our forward line.

“We’re looking forward to the challenge of heading up to Brisbane.”

Jack Scrimshaw will miss the Lions clash with a knee injury that is set to keep him out for four to six weeks, while Harry Morrison has been omitted from the side that defeated Port Adelaide last week.
