Tough as nails midfielder James Worpel has been named as this week’s MVP for his Round 19 game against the Brisbane Lions.
Coming up against some of the best midfielders in the business, Worpel held his own collecting 34 disposals and generating seven clearances.
In his usual hard at it style, 14 of his 34 possessions were contested and he also delivered the ball inside 50 on six occasions.
Worpel was a critical part of the Hawks midfield that won hit-outs, centre clearances and clearances from stoppages.
