It was that knack of Tim O’Brien’s on Saturday night that earned him MVP honours for Round 23.
O’Brien kickstarted the Hawks’ fast start in the upset win, booting his side’s first goal of the night in the opening minute.
The 25-year-old then added another three second-half goals to his tally to prove a match-winner for the Hawks.
O’Brien’s performance rounded out an outstanding final five-week period of the season in which he booted 12 goals along with nine contested marks
