Playing against her current AFLW side Jayde Van Dyk shone for the Hawks in their Round 10 draw against Carlton at La Trobe University.
Van Dyk played a pivotal role off Hawthorn’s half back turning her side’s defence into attack and showing her off her elite intercept skills.

The 23-year-old had 27 disposals, including 20 kicks, as well as three marks and five tackles.
Coach Paddy Hill was pleased with his versatile defender.
“Jayde provided fantastic drive off half back and through the midfield on the weekend where she had a game-high 27 disposals.
“Her never say die attitude helped us stay in the match right up to the final siren.”
