With no injury news to emerge from the side’s Round 6 victory over Carlton, the names on Hawthorn’s injury list are beginning to dwindle.
Midfielder Shaun Burgoyne will be looking to prove his fitness as he makes his case for selection ahead of the Hawks’ Round 6 clash against Melbourne on Saturday.
Burgoyne has spent a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury but says he has been confident with his training loads in recent weeks.

“I’ve been training pretty hard so I’ll be pushing pretty hard for selection this week,” Burgoyne said on Tuesday.
“I’ll hopefully get through training and then hopefully get the call-up after match committee on Thursday.”
Young key position pair Jacob Koschitzke (concussion) and Jackson Ross (hamstring soreness) will also be hoping they can overcome their issues over the course of the week.
Finally, James Frawley is making good progress in his recovery from a hamstring strain.
Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said the club expects Frawley to miss one more week.
“James is progressing as planned, he will start some ball work this week,” Boyd said.
“He’ll look to be available in Round 8.”
