Hawthorn forward Chad Wingard is set to miss the next one to two weeks with a hamstring injury.
Wingard suffered the injury against Brisbane and sat out the final quarter of the side's 19-point loss.
Physical Performance Manager Luke Boyd said the 25-year-old had already made good progress with his injury in the past week.
"Chad commenced his rehab last week and he is going along well," Boyd said.
"We still expect him to miss one to two weeks."
Meanwhile ruckman Ben McEvoy is also recovering well with his syndesmosis injury.
