Hawthorn may be in line for a big boost this weekend ahead of its clash with Brisbane.
With the news that Jack Scrimshaw’s knee injury will see him out of the side for at least the next month, there will be at least one spot opening up in the Hawks 22.
But the return of an important pair could buoy the mood around the Ricoh Centre.

Key forward Mitch Lewis is available after a week off with concussion, while important wingman Isaac Smith will also be desperate to make the trip north after spending the past three weeks on the sidelines.
Lewis has proven himself in the Hawks forward line across his five senior appearances this year, booting a goal in every game and averaging just shy of two contested marks per outing.
Smith would be a valuable addition to the side after his injury lay-off, with the ever-reliable running man averaging 21 disposals and a career-high 3.1 rebound 50s this year.
The three-time premiership Hawk will be forced to prove his fitness ahead of selection this week.
Among those from the Box Hill side pushing for a senior opportunity, Kaiden Brand, Jarryd Roughead and Changkuoth Jiath were all stand-outs in last week’s loss.
Young forward Jackson Ross also continued his good form in front of goal with four majors.
