Hawthorn has made a late change ahead of its Round 5 clash with Geelong on Monday.
Hawks Captain Ben Stratton has been withdrawn from the selected side, with defender David Mirra set to replace him.
Stratton suffered a concussion in the third quarter against St Kilda in Round 4 and was unable to return to the field.
GM – Football Graham Wright said whilst it’s disappointing to be without Stratton for the Easter Monday clash, the club would always put the health and wellbeing of the player first.
“Despite Stratts recovering well throughout the week, we’ve made the decision to take a cautious approach when dealing with any player who has had a concussion,” Wright said.
“It is disappointing for Ben to miss today’s game but we’re confident Mirra will come in and play his role.”
