The Hawks have emerged unscathed from their Round 14 loss to Sydney, with no injuries to report from the match.
However, it’s unlikely the side will regain Chad Wingard (hamstring) or Jack Scrimshaw (knee) ahead of its upcoming clash with West Coast, with their respective recoveries slightly slower than expected.
Meanwhile, Changkuoth Jiath has been dealt a setback in his bid for an AFL debut, after fracturing his jaw in Box Hill’s Round 12 win on Saturday.
As a result, the defender is expected to be sidelined for two to four weeks.
On a more positive note, Box Hill may be buoyed by the return of youngsters Mathew Walker (concussion) and Jacob Koschitzke (hip), with both a test to play this weekend.
Hawthorn’s injury list:
Mathew Walker – concussion - test
Jacob Koschitzke – hip – test
Jack Scrimshaw – knee - 1-2 weeks
Chad Wingard – hamstring - 1-2 weeks
Changkuoth Jiath – jaw – 2-4 weeks
Tom Mitchell – leg – season
Tim Mohr – knee – season
