The 31-year-old was a surprise packet in 2019 becoming one of the team’s most consistent performers.

Henderson’s start to the year was outstanding, in particular a purple-patch he found himself in between rounds 8–14. In this time the veteran averaged 30 disposals, including a 37-possession performance in Round 10 against Port Adelaide.

His form during this period saw him regularly mentioned in All Australian contention, however a quieter finish to the season saw him fall out of the race for the honours.

The wingman was third for the Hawks when it came to average disposals and equal first in marks averaging 7.2 per game.
