Hawthorn Football Club has invited Box Hill Hawks' Ned Reeves to join the club’s pre-season training program.
Reeves has been given the opportunity to train with the Hawks as part of the pre-season supplemental selection period (SSP).
The 209cm ruckman will be able to train with the club until February 28th.
With Will Langford moving to the club's inactive list, as a now retired player, the Hawks have the option of adding a player to its list through the SSP.

GM- Football Graham Wright said Reeves was excited by the opportunity to join the preseason program.
“At 208cm, Ned is a ruckman that impressed us at amateur level in 2018," said Wright.
"The SSP provides us with an opportunity to welcome Ned into our program for a trial period, and to develop and grow his game.
"Ned is excited by the opportunity and is looking forward to getting stuck into training.
“With Will Langford's retirement we have the opportunity to fill the vacancy he leaves on our 2019 list and we will use the SSP period to explore this possibility."
Reeves was listed with the Box Hill Hawks in 2018, however he played the season for St Kevin's in the Victorian Amateur Football League.
