Hawthorn VFLW face a tough assignment this weekend coming up against Melbourne University.
Uni sit in fourth position currently, with the Hawks breathing down their necks in sixth spot.
The Hawks face a tough run home in the final month of the home and away season, with some sporadic form in the early parts of the year putting pressure on the reigning premiers.
But a win over Richmond in its last outing has Hawthorn brimming with confidence and they will hopefully be able to extend this momentum into this weekend.
Melbourne Uni will host Hawthorn at Melbourne University Main Oval on Sunday at 2.30pm.
Box Hill finds itself in an interesting position as the side enters Round 18.
Currently in eighth position, a win for the Hawks this weekend could see the team rise to as high as fifth position.
The boost up the ladder seems there for the taking for the Hawks, who face a North Melbourne side that has managed just four wins in 2019.
Coming off a bye last week, you'd expect Box Hill's fresh legs to also prove a factor.
North Melbourne will host Box Hill at Arden St on Saturday at 2pm.
