Hawthorn has unveiled its Round 1 team set to face the Crows, with a series of feel-good stories emerging from the line-up.
Most notably, young Hawk Jack Scrimshaw will play his club debut after crossing from the Suns during the recent trade period.

Scrimshaw registered four games across two seasons at the Gold Coast, and will add to his AFL tally this weekend having been named on Hawthorn’s interchange.
“Jack is a great story,” GM-Football Graham Wright said.
“Since coming to the club he’s worked incredibly hard and hasn’t put a foot wrong.
“He thoroughly deserves his call up and we’re excited to see what he can produce this weekend.”
Meanwhile, Captain Ben Stratton and Vice Captain Jack Gunston will lead the team for the first time, with the latter having overcome ITB irritation that held him out of Hawthorn’s pre-season campaign.
“It’s great to have Jack back to full fitness as we head into Round 1,” Wright said.
“He’s such an important player, in both a skills and leadership sense, so he’s certainly a handy inclusion before we face a strong Crows outfit.”
The Hawks will head to Adelaide on Friday morning, ready to kick off their 2019 campaign on Saturday afternoon at Adelaide Oval.
