Round 10, 2016

Hawthorn 135 def Brisbane 87, Gabba

Celebrating his 250th game, Lewis put in a dominant performance against the Lions, racking up 42 disposals, nine clearances, six marks and a goal. Standing in as skipper, the 30-year-old led the Hawks to a 48-point win at the Gabba and took home a perfect three Brownlow votes.

2014 grand final

Hawthorn 137 def Sydney 74, MCG

Along with his teammates, Lewis ensured the Hawks wouldn’t lose a second grand final in three years to the Swans with an almighty performance. Accumulating a game-high 37 disposals to go with seven clearances, seven rebound 50s and five inside 50s, the midfielder also finished runner-up in the Norm Smith Medal, just one vote behind the winner, skipper Luke Hodge. 

Round 21, 2014

Fremantle 110 def Hawthorn 91, Subiaco

The number three recorded a career-high 44 touches in a tough game against the Dockers as the Hawks ultimately went down by 19 points. Lewis had seven clearances and nine marks in a gallant display at Subiaco, receiving two Brownlow votes in the loss.

Round 17, 2012

Hawthorn 138 def Collingwood 91, MCG

In a rare move that saw the number three positioned predominantly up forward, Lewis bagged a career-high five goals against the Magpies as they stormed to a 47-point win. Gathering 20 disposals and 13 contested possessions, Lewis was one of the Hawks’ best in what was a crucial win for the side.

Round 22, 2008

Hawthorn 159 def Carlton 81, Docklands

35 disposals and a goal earned Lewis the three votes as the Hawks got over the Blues by 78 points. Running rampant through the middle of the ground, Lewis also picked up eight clearances, marks and inside fifties, earning the three votes from the umpires ahead of teammate Lance Franklin, who kicked his 100th goal for the season.
