The Hawks will don their 2018 Indigenous guernsey for the first time this weekend as the league celebrates Sir Doug Nicholls Round.
The jumper has been designed by artist Jennifer Coombes, and is inspired by Cyril Rioli’s homeland, the Tiwi Islands.

Earlier this year, Rioli headed up to Katherine in the Northern Territory as part of the club’s Community Camp, and we took that opportunity to take some candid shots of he and some young footballers in the guernsey.

All of Hawthorn's Indigenous Programs are made possible by the wonderful support of the Epic Good Foundation.
