The Hawks again appear unlikely to make too many changes for their clash this week against the Demons, despite going down to Richmond by 13 points.

James Sicily is expected to come straight back in after serving a one-week suspension, while Ryan Schoenmakers is a test after missing last week due to achilles soreness. 

Meanwhile, a number of Hawks have pressed their case for an inclusion in the side after some strong performances for Box Hill. 

Conor Glass, who’s been named as an emergency for each of the Hawks’ opening three AFL fixtures, put in a solid performance at VFL level, collecting 19 disposals in a well-balanced game.

Mature-age recruit David Mirra also appears to be close to making his debut. The 27-year-old served as the emergency for the Hawthorn’s clash against Richmond before taking the field for Box Hill, where he impressed with 20 disposals. 

James Cousins was also a standout playing predominantly on the ball with 29 disposals and three goals against Williamstown. 

The former Murray Bushranger also had nine inside 50s and six tackles as he looks to build on his three AFL games so far, while fellow midfielder Jonathan O’Rourke also impressed.

O’Rourke similarly had 29 disposals, providing the Hawks with an important presence around stoppages and finishing with a goal.
