Review

O’Brien played 12 senior games this year as he took his career tally to 46.

Playing every game of the opening two months of the season, O’Brien’s best game at AFL level came in Round 4 against Melbourne when he recorded 14 touches, five marks, four tackles and three goals.

The 24-year-old played 13 games for Box Hill this year, including the successful grand final over Casey.

At VFL level, O’Brien was used at both ends of the ground, but more regularly in defence towards the back end of the year.

Entering his seventh season in the system next year, O’Brien will be keen to push for more senior action in 2019.
