Hawthorn Football Club has finalised its list ahead of Wednesday’s list lodgement deadline and the upcoming NAB AFL draft.

The club has re-signed Premiership Hawk Ryan Schoenmakers, defenders Teia Miles and Ricky Henderson and emerging ruckman Marc Pittonet for another year.

While Daniel Howe has signed a two-year deal, keeping him at the club until at least the end of 2020.

The decision has also been made to delist Will Langford, who finishes his career with 72 games and a premiership medallion, having played an instrumental role in the Hawks’ 2014 grand final victory.

“At the end of the season we sat down with Will to discuss his future. Will made it clear that he wanted to be a one club player and that if he wasn’t playing for the Hawks then he would prefer to move on to the next chapter in his life,” GM – Football Graham Wright said.

“That being the case we reached a mutual decision to delist Will and we wish him all the best in life outside of football.

“Will leaves the game as a premiership player, and we are incredibly grateful for his service to Hawthorn over the past eight years.”

Rounding out the Hawks’ list changes, James Cousins, David Mirra and Conor Glass have all been upgraded to the Hawks’ senior list for the 2019 season.

Mirra made his debut in the brown and gold in Round 4 against Melbourne, he went on to play six more senior games including the semi-final loss to the Dees.

Cousins played four senior games for Hawthorn this season and finished equal third with Pittonet, in the Box Hill Hawks’ best and fairest.

Glass, from County Derry in Ireland, played four senior games this season and joined fellow countryman Conor Nash in Round 22, as the first two Irish Hawks to play in the same team.
