We’ve been keeping a close eye on our signed Hawthorn women as they play out the AFLW season with their respective clubs.
There are currently three AFLW-listed women on Hawthorn’s list for the 2018 VFLW, with more to come.

Phoebe McWilliams (GWS)
McWilliams got her name back on the goal kickers list in Round 5, booting a goal to take her season tally to seven.
After failing to hit the scoreboard in the Giants’ Round 4 draw with Adelaide, the 32- year old was back to her potent best on Saturday as she was the dominant forward on the ground, missing another two shots at goal in her club’s victory.
The key forward now sits second on the competition’s goal kickers table, four majors behind the Bulldogs’ Brooke Lochland who kicked seven goals in Round 4.
Rebecca Beeson (GWS)
Beeson continues to build on a strong season for the Giants as she was again named amongst her side’s best players in their three-goal win over Fremantle on Saturday.
The 21-year old kicked a goal to go along with her 12 disposals, three marks and two tackles.
The Round 1 Rising Star nominee has emerged as one of the competition’s bright lights this year, excelling as a small forward who can hit the scoreboard as well as provide strong defensive pressure.
Emma Mackie (WB)
Mackie was given her second opportunity of the season on Sunday, having not played since Round 1.
The reigning Box Hill VFLW club champion had six disposals, one tackle and kicked one behind in her side’s eight-point victory over Collingwood.
The 33-year old will be hoping to maintain her spot in the Bulldogs line-up as they eye off securing the minor premiership.
