Hawthorn will battle a Richmond side on Sunday far different to the one they last met in Round 20 last year.
Having since become a premiership side, the Tigers are expected to field at least 16 premiership players to face the Hawks, who are likely to send out at least 11 of their own.
While the Hawks will boast a greater number of premiership medallions won with 31, they now come up against a side far more accomplished than the last time they met and one also determined to bounce back from a Round 2 loss to Adelaide.
Richmond are also set to field a relatively younger side than the Hawks in their upcoming encounter with the average age of the 22 to run out last weekend just below 23, while the Hawks’ respective team sat above 26.
The Tigers also boast a Brownlow medalist this time around after Dustin Martin went on to win the award last year, but will be without Josh Caddy, who grabbed the three votes in Round 20 last year, while Dion Prestia claimed the two votes and is also yet to play this season.
Similarly, the remaining vote from that game went to Hawks defender James Sicily, who will miss through suspension this weekend.
