Hawthorn Football Club has appointed Pacific Search Partners to assist in the recruitment of the club’s new chief executive officer.
Pacific Search Partners will undertake a thorough process that will include advertising nationally as the club’s board looks to appoint a chief executive to lead the club through the next stage of its development.
President Richard Garvey said the club is confident that the role will attract a field of high-quality candidates.
“We are confident of finding a quality person to take the helm at our club,” Garvey said.
“We expect our new CEO to lead the roll out of our next strategic plan as we aim to stay at the forefront of the AFL competition both on and off the field.
“Our process will be thorough and extensive, ensuring no stone is left unturned to find the very best candidate.
“While the recruitment process runs its course we have appointed General Manager of Finance Tim Silvers as the club’s interim CEO.
“Tim has been with Hawthorn for over ten years in a number of key roles and is a crucial member of the club’s senior executive team.
“We are in a fantastic position with Tim stepping in and Stuart able to conduct a comprehensive hand over before he departs the club at the end of the month.”
