The Hawthorn playing group was reunited at the Ricoh Centre on Monday morning, as the senior players returned to kick off their 2018 pre-season.
With the 1-4 year Hawks already two weeks into their training program, Captain Jarryd Roughead said he and the senior players were itching to get back on the track with their younger teammates.
"We're back here today and everyone seems to be ready to go," said Roughead, who is heading into his 15th pre-season.
"The young kids are apparently training the house down so I'm looking forward to getting back out there."
Having played every game in 2017 after missing the previous season through illness, Roughead confirms his body is feeling good.
"[I've got] no worries. I've got a scan next week, which is just a normal three month scan which you understand needs to happen, but no issues here.
"I'm pumped."
