Port Adelaide will be looking for their first win of the JLT Community series when they take on Hawthorn this Sunday, following consecutive losses against St Kilda and Richmond.
The last time these two teams met was in Round 16 last year, when the Hawks emerged 22-point victors.
Despite the lack of JLT wins, several Port players have showed plenty of promise across the course of the pre-season.
Dan Houston has been touted as a potential 2017 debutant after impressing in his first two JLT outings, and looks set to face the Hawks this weekend. The 19-year-old has averaged 13 disposals while playing across half-back, with an impressive 96 percent disposal efficiency.
Sam Powell-Pepper has also shown enormous potential during the pre-season. The 2016 draftee (Pick 18) registered a match-high eight tackles in Port’s 28-point loss to the Tigers over the weekend, and looks likely to get another chance to stake his claim for a Round 1 selection when Port meet Hawthorn this Sunday.
The Hawks won’t need to worry about the defensive pressure of Jasper Pittard, after the skilful backman was sidelined due to a calf strain and looks likely to miss the start of the home and away season.

They will need to find a way to quell the impact of Chad Wingard however, with the crafty forward ready to bounce back from a corked leg suffered midway through Port’s JLT2 match.
The JLT series has been business as usual for Ollie Wines, who has averaged 22 disposals across his two pre-season appearances. The reliable midfielder may cause some headaches for the Hawks' onballers, after laying an impressive 10 tackles against the Saints in JLT1.
Angus Monfries, Jesse Palmer, Matt White and Todd Marshall all look set to play their first pre-season game after being cleared of injury and named available for either AFL or SANFL selection this week.
The final JLT clash for both teams will take place on Sunday at Hickinbotham Oval in Noarlunga, SA at 1pm AEDT.
