Fun facts: 

● The most popular draft picks the Hawks have held on draft night are 19, 22 and 25 - each of which the club has used four times.

● Hawthorn's last top 10 pick came 11 years ago in 2006, when it selected Mitch Thorp with Pick 6. Injury restricted the promising forward to just two games, and he was later delisted at the end of 2009.

● Hawthorn's most recent top 30 selection was youngster Ryan Burton, who was collected with Pick 19 in 2015.

● Hawthorn has never held picks four, nine or 27 on draft night. However, Pick 9 played an important role in luring the Hawks' current No.9 (Shaun Burgoyne) to Waverley back in 2009. Maybe the number nine is lucky for the Hawks after all?
