Luke Breust has been withdrawn from Hawthorn’s side to face the Gold Coast Suns tomorrow afternoon.
Breust will be replaced in the side by youngster Kade Stewart who will return to the senior side for the first time since Round 2.
Teia Miles will fill Stewart’s place as an emergency.
GM Football Operations Jason Burt said:
“Luke presented with a bout of gastro yesterday which prevented him from training.
“We were hoping he would be in better condition today and right for tomorrow afternoon’s game, but unfortunately he’s still not feeling 100 per cent so we have made the decision to withdraw him from the side.
“Kade’s been in really good form for Box Hill and it’s great that he’ll get his opportunity to get back into the senior side.”
Gold Coast have also made a change to their side with Callum Ah Chee withdrawn due to a back niggle.
He has been replaced by No.4 draft pick Ben Ainsworth.
