“He played half back pretty much the whole game and settled in quite well. He used the ball relatively well throughout the course of the game. Couple of times he was probably a little bit rushed but probably due to the Port Melbourne pressure. But he’s kicked the ball 17 times which is what we want with Harry and he’s set us up, and been quite creative. He took a couple of marks from oppo boot. Four inside 50s and three rebounds, so good balance between the two there. He looked settled down back so we’ll probably keep him there for the back end of the season. He’s got the flexibility to go – last week he played across all three lines and just that’s unsettling for any player so it was good to get him settled this week.” CN

Kurt Heatherley

“He had nine rebounds and 13 marks so in terms of his stats, he had pretty good numbers. He played on Lisle for the majority of the game. Lisle kicked four goals and had 15 touches so his defensive side probably could have been improved. But he does give everything back there and it was a pretty good return in terms of his numbers but he would want to improve on his contested stuff as the ball goes forward, into their forward line.” CN

“He hit the score board again so that’s what we like from Dall. We’d like to get him a little bit more involved forward of centre. He had two inside 50s, so we’d like to get that a little bit higher but Dall’s workrate was pretty high throughout the day. He pretty much stayed on the wing the whole time.” CN

“Kade Stewart played pretty much half forward the whole game. He had little stints in the middle of the ground but played the majority at half forward. He had sixteen disposals and again hit the scoreboard so a good return there with a couple of goals and a few tackles.” CN

“Jono O’Rourke played the first three quarters of the game (returning from a hamstring injury). He looked sharp. I think it was important for him to get back and play some footy, he’s missed a lot of footy. He will look to keep improving on his performance there and hopefully he will look to play a greater percentage of the game next week.” CN

“The positive side of his game was the fact that he laid four tackles. But it was probably not his best game. We’d like to see him get a bit more involved and use his speed to get back and be a bit more lively. The inside 50 connection wasn’t great throughout the day so that sort of cost us an opportunity to be able to allow him to impact.” CN

“He played back for the first two quarters and then we threw him forward for the second half. The opposition was getting on top of us in terms of their ability to mark the ball from our entries. So, we needed him to go down there and compete. It was foreign territory for him but he’s got to try and learn to play at both ends of the ground.” CN

“Ty spent time ruck and forward. Again, our ball use wasn’t really conducive for him to be able to take a mark or have impact. He will miss this week through suspension. Our discipline was unfortunately pretty disappointing on the day.”
