But over the next 11 days, we’re forgetting about the team achievements and throwing the spotlight on individuals. 

Here’s the question; which Hawk has the most impressive trophy case of all time? 

Each accolade has been given a weighting (see bottom of page), and the numbers have been crunched to see who comes out on top.

Joining Sam Mitchell and Luke Hodge as the only members of the top ten who weren’t named in Hawthorn’s Team of the Century (for obvious reasons), Crawford instead earns his points through an impressive resume of individual accolades.

A Brownlow Medal, four All Australian honours, four Peter Crimmins Medals, an AFLPA MVP award and a six-year stint as club captain- Crawford is an indisputable great of Hawthorn.

His individual efforts were then capped off with the ultimate prize in the final game of his career, when he helped the Hawks lift the 2008 premiership cup and, with it, five final points!
