HAWTHORN CEO Stuart Fox has confirmed tonight on 3AW that Alastair Clarkson has signed his contract extension today.
Clarkson has re-signed with the club for an additional three years, extending his contract until the end of 2019.
This deal will extend the four-time premiership coach’s tenure to 15 seasons.
Clarkson began as Hawthorn’s coach in 2005, and is currently in his 12th season at the helm.
He has led the Hawks to 166 wins from 263 matches, with 16 wins from 22 finals.
He is the club’s second longest serving coach, behind John Kennedy Snr (299 games).
