Sam Mitchell (Hawthorn)
Mitchell was back to his best against the Gold Coast. With skipper Luke Hodge back in the team taking some of the midfield pressure of Mitchell’s shoulders, he was able to accumulate disposals as he so often does, finishing with 35.
The Hawks will be hoping all three of Mitchell, Hodge and Jordan Lewis can stay out on the park for the remainder of 2016 – the Hawthorn midfield functions far better when they do.

Cyril Rioli (Hawthorn)
After missing the game against the Gold Coast, Rioli will be absolutely primed for a big game against Port Adelaide tonight.
The Hawks certainly missed his energy and enthusiasm around the ball against the Suns a couple of weeks ago, so Rioli and indeed the whole side will be out to rectify that against a dangerous Port Adelaide side.

Bradley Hill (Hawthorn)
Hill looked to have turned a corner form-wise last week against the Suns, collecting 19 disposals, seven inside 50’s and a goal.
A return to his 2014-15 form where he averaged approximately 20 disposals per game would be a real boost for the Hawks, who have at times struggled to match sides for pace across the ground. Look for Hill to build into his work against the Power tonight.

Chad Wingard (Port Adelaide)
Wingard may not be getting as many possessions per game as we’re used to seeing, but his scoreboard impact remains as dangerous as ever in 2016.
The live-wire forward has already kicked 24 goals this season, and is on track to equal his 2015 tally of 54. He has gone goalless just twice in his last 43 games and the Hawks will need to watch him closely tonight.

Charlie Dixon (Port Adelaide)
Dixon has been a good recruit for Port Adelaide this season, his presence has filled the absence of Patrick Ryder and Jay Shultz beautifully.
The former Gold Coast forward currently sits sixth overall for contested marks inside 50, and James Frawley will have his hands full in ensuring Dixon doesn’t add to his mark and goal tally tonight.
