AFTER back-to-back wins, will Hawthorn make any changes to take on St Kilda?

The Hawks escaped Sunday's thrilling win against the Western Bulldogs without injury, with midfielder Liam Shiels returning to the side and getting through unscathed.

But if the Hawks opt for changes against the Saints, these players could be in the mix.

Luke Hodge

Could the skipper return to take on St Kilda?

GM – Football Operations Chris Fagan says it’s not out of question.

Hodge fractured his arm in the Hawks’ Round 1 clash with Geelong, and has missed the past two weeks, but could be in contention for a sooner-than-expected return pending training tomorrow.

Blake Hardwick

First-year Hawk Hardwick was an emergency for last week’s match against the Bulldogs, but didn't play for Box Hill on Saturday.

After an impressive pre-season, the 19-year-old could be in the mix if the Hawks opt for a smaller forward set up against the Saints.

Kaiden Brand

Box Hill Hawks coach Marco Bello praised Brand for his performance in Saturday’s VFL opener – and if the Hawks need another big defender to face the Saints, he could be the man.

Brand has been an emergency already this year, and put his hand up for selection with an 18-disposal, eight-mark effort in Box Hill’s Round 1 win.

Dallas Willsmore

One of the best in Box Hill’s season opener, Willsmore is hot off a performance in which he racked up 26 disposals, 10 marks and six inside 50s.

Daniel Howe

After making way for Liam Shiels against the Bulldogs, Howe did his chances of a senior recall no harm in the VFL.

The 20-year-old picked up 24 disposals to be among Box Hill’s stronger contributors.

Tim O’Brien

If the Hawks require another mobile, marking forward, O’Brien has thrown his name into the mix after a three-goal, seven-mark performance for Box Hill on the weekend.

Marc Pittonet

Pittonet made his AFL debut in Round 1, and keeps pushing his case for another opportunity.

After a dominant performance in a VFL practice match a fortnight ago, the young ruckman again impressed for Box Hill against Sandringham at the weekend.

Brendan Whitecross

Experienced utility Whitecross was among Box Hill’s better players on the weekend, with coach Marco Bello singing his praises for his pressure and ability to bring teammates into the game.
