Jack Fitzpatrick is thrilled to be back on the Hawks' list after being delisted a month ago. The Hawks used pick 31 in the AFL Rookie Draft on Monday to secure the 200cm utility.
"When I got the news the boys were delisting me, they also said they were going to redraft me, but there's always that uncertainty until it's official.
"It's good that as of Monday I'm officially back a part of it."
A Hawthorn supporter growing up, Fitzpatrick hopes to stay with the club for as long as possible.
"I was a bit of a Hawthorn nerd growing up so to get an extra year and hopefully more going forward, the little five-year-old me inside is pretty happy."
