Paul Puopolo (Hawthorn)
Puopolo was relatively quiet against West Coast last Friday night, kicking one goal from ten disposals as the Hawks struggled to get their forward line firing.
Fresh off committing to a contract extension this week, Puopolo will want to bounce back strongly against the Pies.
Cyril Rioli (Hawthorn)
Rioli was kept goalless for just the second time in 2016 last week as he wasn’t afforded any time or space with the ball by the Eagles’ defence.
The four-time premiership player has been a barometer of sorts for the Hawks this season, so Hawthorn will be hoping he can turn in a good performance against Collingwood.
Jordan Lewis (Hawthorn)
The vice-captain did all he could to keep Hawthorn in the game last week and was among the best players for the Hawks with 27 disposals at nearly 90% efficiency.
Lewis loves playing Collingwood – he averages 24.7 disposals per game against them and has kicked more goals against the Pies than any other team.
Adam Treloar (Collingwood)
Crossing from GWS at the end of last season, Treloar has been one of the best recruits of 2016.
The gun midfielder has smashed his previous best disposal tally this year, racking up an astonishing 637 disposals from 21 games this year compared to 577 disposals from 21 games with the Giants last season.
Jeremy Howe (Collingwood)
The high flying forward-turned-defender has been very good for Collingwood in the second half of 2016.
After being moved between attack and defence early in the season, Howe has settled down back as an intercept player who uses the ball very well by foot – a valuable asset to any team.
