TWO Hawthorn players featured in the Round 3 coaches’ votes.
Surprisingly, the 30 votes were split between just five players from the Hawks’ three-point win against Western Bulldogs on Sunday.
Defender Ben Stratton polled eight votes – as did Bulldogs midfielder Luke Dahlhaus.
Stratton played an important role for the Hawks, limiting the influence of star forward Jake Stringer, who kicked just one goal for the game.
He also collected 11 disposals, nine one-percenters and five marks in a brilliant defensive display.
Another defender – Bulldog Marcus Adams – polled seven votes, while Caleb Daniel polled five.
Hawks midfielder Sam Mitchell rounded out the votes, picking up two for his 29-disposal, eight tackle and four clearance performance.
Sydney Swan Luke Parker sits at the top of the leaderboard after three rounds with a near-perfect 29 votes, with Mitchell in equal eighth spot with 14 votes.
