With the Hawks scheduled to play Collingwood this weekend, we've had to look back to one of our favourite clashes against the Pies for this week's Moment of the Match, proudly brought to you by VRGF.
The memorable match was way back in Round 7, 2008, when the Hawks registered a 65-point win in front of 76,000 at the MCG.
The day also saw three favourite sons take home a bag of goals each, but which haul was your favourite?
Vote below, and don’t forget one lucky voter will take home a 2020 team-signed guernsey at the end of the season.
ROUGHY'S 6:
Jarryd Roughead was a force to be reckoned with inside the 50m arc, as the forward took six strong marks and booted six goals from set shots, causing headaches for the black and white defence. He also nabbed a Brownlow vote for his performance - the only one of these three candidates to do so.
WILLIAMS' 5:
While Williams' bag is one short of his counterparts, it certainly wasn't short of excitement. His second goal, arguably his best of the day, saw Williams crumb and snap through heavy traffic to extend the Hawks' lead.
BUDDY'S 6:
It was Buddy at his vintage best, as the Hawks' number 23 ran circles around his opponents, igniting the crowd with big marks, big goals and powerful body work.
