With the Hawks scheduled to play Geelong on Monday, we've had to look back to one of our favourite clashes against the Cats for this week's Moment of the Match, proudly brought to you by VRGF.

When you're looking through our storied rivalry with the Cats, it's just so difficult to go past the game touted as the best of all-time.

So, we won't.

Which of these three moments is your pick of the 1989 Grand Final?

Dermie's courage:

Smashed by Cat Mark Yeates at the opening bounce, Dermott Brereton displayed enormous to courage to not only play out the remainder of the game but also have an impact on the result with three important goals.

Dunstall's pressure into Brereton's goal:

Not typically known for his forward pressure, Jason Dunstall laid a massive tackle on the Cats' last line of defence to set up a bustling Brereton goal.

Anderson's quick snap:

He might not have the same recognisability as the aforementioned names but this goal was truly spectacular from Dean Anderson, who probably doesn't get enough credit for booting four on the day!
