This Saturday, the Hawks will be supporting Health and Wellness Partner, Bupa in raising awareness for Heart Disease in women through the Heart Salute campaign.
By giving a #heartsalute to the women you love, be it your wives, daughters, sisters, mothers, partners or friends together we ensure that more women know the importance of their heart health and take simple steps to reduce their risk.
Luke Hodge and Alastair Clarkson share their #heartsalute to help raise awareness for women’s heart health.
Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Australian women and is responsible for 3 times more deaths of women than breast cancer.
Do the same as Hodgey and raise awareness and show us who is important to you; your wife, daughter, sister, mother, partner or friends.
Bupa have created the #heartsalute campaign to stimulate awareness that heart disease is a significant health issue for Australian women and the Hawks are helping to promote this for Round 14
The activity forms part of a partnership with the Heart Foundations, Go Red For Women campaign.
