Hawks break membership record
Hawthorn Football Club is thrilled to announce it has broken its membership record for the seventh consecutive season, eclipsing last year’s total of 63,353 today.
The current tally of 63,595 is 6,452 ahead of the same time last year (2013: 57,143), and brings the Club one step closer to achieving its goal of 80,000 members by 2017 as outlined in the business plan all for one.
Chief Executive Stuart Fox was delighted to confirm the news, crediting loyal supporters with the milestone.
“To break the Club’s membership record for the seventh consecutive season is a significant achievement, and reinforces the incredible support and loyalty we receive from the Hawthorn faithful,” Fox said.
“I would like to congratulate every member who has signed-up for this season, which includes 8,496 Tassie Hawks members, and shown their support for the brown and gold.”
“I would also like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of the Club’s membership team, who will continue to provide outstanding services and packages for all our members.”
“With the team 2-0, and with seven home games in Melbourne and three in Launceston remaining, it’s an exciting time to be part of the Club and we encourage all supporters who are yet to sign-up to get on board and secure their seat,” Fox said.
