After celebrating our back-to-back premierships with fans at Glenferrie Oval on Sunday, the Hawks headed to our second home, Tasmania on Wednesday to celebrate with our Tassie Hawks fans.

Approximately 4,000 fans gathered at the Silverdome in Launceston, where the 22 premiership players were greeted one-by-one by resounding cheers. After being presented on stage, each player answered questions from fans and handed out mini footballs to the crowd before signing autographs and taking photos with some lucky fans.

The players then picked people from the crowd to join them at the VIP backstage event after the presentation, where they had the opportunity to meet and chat with their premiership hereos.

Earlier in the day, Senior Coach Alastair Clarkson, Captain Luke Hodge, Sam Mitchell, Bradley Hill, Matt Spangher and Luke Breust travelled to Hobart to spend some time in the community and with various charities.

First they headed to the University of Tasmania and competitors for this year's Special Olympics where they played bocce, signed autographs, took photos and had a kick with the competitors.

The group then went to the Princes Wharf and were presented on stage to thousands of fans, with Hodge and Clarkson bringing out the two cups to the delight of the crowd.

At the same time, the other 16 premiership players were in Launceston and split into two groups. One group headed to Aurora Stadium to meet the Northern Tasmania Junior Football Association while the other headed to the Prospect Hawks Junior Football Club.

They then headed to two of the Club’s community charity partners Give Me 5 Kids and the Cancer Council.
