Melbourne's miserable and wet weather continued on Thursday and they players weren't spared from the elements, taking to the oval at the Ricoh Centre to prepare for Saturday night's clash against Gold Coast.

With a hot and humid 31 degrees expected on the Gold Coast for the game plus the chance of storms around game time, the Hawks coaching staff and players probably welcomed the difficult conditions to become accustomed ahead of the clash.

The players participated in a skills session before closing training with some set shot goal kicking.
