Blue Ribbon Cup
This weekend’s match will be played for the Blue Ribbon Cup.

Established in 1999, the Blue Ribbon Cup is played in memory of two Victoria Police officers, Sergeant Gary Silk and Senior Constable Rodney Miller, who were killed in the line of duty at Moorabbin in August 1998.

All players who participate in the game will be presented with a silver commemorative medal featuring the Victoria Police badge with a gold version of this medal presented to the player voted best on ground.

As a mark of respect for the Victoria Police officers who have been killed in the line of duty, players and on-field officials will wear reflective blue and white checkered armbands.

What is a 'replacement game'?
