LUKE Hodge, Lance Franklin, Cyril Rioli and Jordan Lewis ventured to the MCG on Tuesday night in their 2013 playing kits, but not to play football on the hallowed turf.

The faces of the Club's 2013 ALWAYS HAWTHORN Membership campaign, the four players put on their game faces for the Club's Membership TVC.

Excited to be part of another Membership campaign, the players showed great enthusiasm as they were directed to their positions and given direction of what was required.

Franklin and Lewis' shoot required the pair to be at the MCG when the sun had well and truly set, and night sky dark as they stepped into the stairwells of the Great Southern Stand for their roles.

The overall feel of the TVC has a dirty, gritty and stirring feel, with the four players looking powerful and determined - ready to tackle the 2013 AFL season.

hawthornfc.com.au was there to capture every moment to give you a sneak peak of the Club's 2013 Membership TVC.

All the make-up is in readiness for the shoot, including a mysterious spray bottle with the label "sweat".

Cyril Rioli was one of the first players to get into the make-up chair.

Then he was briefed by the Club's Marketing Manager on his role in the TVC.

The Captain, Luke Hodge was front and center, a picture of concentration during his take.

But when the cameras weren't rolling, he was all smiles, enjoying being part of another membership campaign.

When it came down to it, Rioli was all business during his take.

Like Hodge though, was all smiles when the cameras weren't rolling.

What has the TVC got in store? Rioli looking very serious as the lighting is dimmed.

To get the full feel of the change rooms, a pair of adidas boots and a football lay on the bench in front of the lockers.

Lance Franklin's number 23 guernsey was laid out and ready for him to change into upon arrival.

What is Franklin's role in the TVC? The lighting is dimmed and shadowed across his face. But, the famous 23 still features.

What is he looking back for? You'll have to wait to find out.

Rioli was pretty happy to be involved, giving the two thumbs up to this year's TVC.

Jordan Lewis was happy to take a load off while waiting for his name to be called...

...And was happy to be part of the TVC when it came down to it.

He gave the camera his toughest look, a look we've seen before when he's on the field. The look of determination.
