Hale cleared
David Hale has been cleared and is free to play after an incident involving he and Leigh Adams from Saturday's match was assessed by the Match Review Panel.
The incident occured in the opening term of Hawthorn's 81-point win over North Melbourne in Craigieburn, where Hale and Adams collided while vying for a ball in disupte.
The Match Review Panel said Hale had no alternate way of contesting the ball and therefore no charge was laid.
Adams did not leave the field as a result of the incident despite North Melbourne trainers entering the field of play.
Hale was one of Hawthorn's best in the win, booting four goals and proving a dangerous player in Hawthorn's forward half.
He is free to play in Hawthorn's Round 1 blockbuster against Geelong on Easter Monday.
