HAWTHORN fans still buzzing from Saturday's Grand Final win flocked to Glenferrie Oval in their thousands to catch a glimpse of their 2013 Premiership heroes.

Lines stretched as far back as Burwood Road as fans descended on the club's spiritual home to celebrate its 11th Premiership.

The day's MC, Tim Blackwell interviewed former Club Captain Richie Vandenberg on stage as well as former Hawk John Hendrie.

Blackwell was then joined by Assistant Coach Luke Beveridge to discuss yesterday's game.

Shortly after, Club President Andrew Newbold paid homage to the Hawthorn faithful, whom he said are the lifeblood of the Club and should enjoy the Club's 11th flag.

The players were presented on stage at approximately 1.15pm and were all smiles as they soaked up the atmosphere of the 20,000 strong crowd.

The biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Captain Luke Hodge as he held the cup aloft with Coach Alastair Clarkson and Cyril Rioli who couldn't hide his happiness at being a dual Premiership player.

Some Hawks fans went straight to the stage to get in prime position when gates opened just after 11am.


Fans had the opportunity to have their photo taken with the Premiership Cup at the Simply Energy marquee.
