HAWTHORN forward Jack Gunston has been nominated for Goal of the Year.
In the final quarter of Saturday night’s loss to Geelong, Gunston snapped a miraculous goal from the boundary to spark Hawthorn’s fight back.
The goal came as a result of some great pressure from Paul Puopolo and Luke Breust, who forced the ball to fall out to Gunston from the pack who threw it on his boot on the boundary line.
The ball went as high as it did long and sailed through to being the Hawks within 15 points and give them the momentum.
