Friday 27 September - 1 day to go

All roads led to the streets of Melbourne's CBD today for the 2013 Grand Final parade.

The players met at the Club in the morning for some preparations for the game because boarding a bus to the Arts Centre Melbourne for the parade.

First taken to a green room for a snack, the players waited about 10 minutes before emerging and making their way to the Toyota utes that would take them through the streets of Melbourne.

Melbourne turned on a brilliant day of sunshine - much better than the rain and cold of last year. The players sat at the back of the utes and soaked up the atmosphere of Grand Final week.

The players were presented on stage at the Old Treasury Building before making their way back to the Ricoh Centre for a light training session before the big game.
